Word has it that Albert Einstein stayed here in 1948 for the
Palomar Observatory opening dedication ceremony.
The log "Great room" is made from indigenous Cedar tree's

If you have a close call with a Grizzly Bear,don't hesitate to throw a horseshoe at 'em
and run on back inside The Lodge.Please close the door behind you and let
"Krash"(the owner)know so he can shoe 'em away.
Actually,the last Grizzly spotted on Palomar Mountain was way back in 1908.A hundred
years ago.Too bad.Cause If the Grizzly was still around today we would have a natural
curfew in affect and their would'nt be so many city slickers movin' up here and
complainin' bout people's dogs runnin' wild er the rooster crowin' come mornin'.Gosh
darn "Cityots" No offense Ya'all...We love haven' ya come up for a visit.
